About the teacher

Nataly is a dedicated piano teacher and accomplished performer, with a lifelong passion for music and education. She began her piano studies in Riga, Latvia, at the age of five, quickly showing exceptional promise. After winning the national competition Talent of Latvia, she gave her first solo concert in 2012 at the Golden Hall of the Riga Latvian Society.

Nataly went on to graduate from the Royal College of Music in London, where she studied under Nigel Clayton, supported by the St Marylebone Educational Foundation and the Henry Wood Accommodation Trust. Alongside her studies, she developed an active performance career, appearing in solo recitals, chamber music ensembles and orchestral performances. Her orchestral debut came at the age of 13, performing with the Latvian National Symphony Orchestra and Kremerata Baltica.

She has received a Diploma of Distinction at the Chopin International Piano Competition and has participated in international masterclasses with renowned musicians including Dmitri Bashkirov, Mikhail Voskresensky, Ivari Ilja and Anton Lyakhovsky. Nataly continues to refine her artistry through regular participation in international masterclasses in Estonia.

As a teacher, Nataly is deeply inspired by the mentors who shaped her own musical journey. She is passionate about passing on not only technical skills but also a genuine love for music. Her lessons are engaging, supportive and tailored to each student, with a strong focus on musicality, rhythm, listening, technique and self-expression.
